The Iraqi Student Project (ISP) is a grass-roots effort to help young people who have studied in Iraq acquire the education they need to participate in rebuilding their country. DePaul university has granted a 4-year tuition waiver for a student selected and mentored by the ISP. The DePaul Support grou was formed to raise funds and provide community support for the student, who arrived in September. Together with the student we serve as nonviolent ambassadors for peace with Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations.
