Is the U.S./NATO attack on Libya an example of a "humanitarian intervention"? Then why did the goal change from "preventing a dictator from massacring his own people," to deposing and/or assassinating the leader of a sovereign nation and installing a new government?

As is almost always the case with U.S. military interventions in modern times, the "official story" and most of the corporate media won't tell you the real motives, the real goals and the real consequences of the intervention. The ends of humanitarianism are ill served - many of us would say they can't be served - by military means. But then, humanitarianism most likely has nothing to do with the real goals of this unconstitutional and illegal intervention.
