Your tax-deductible donation can help to repair Iraq by supporting an Iraqi student at DePaul University! DePaul has earmarked a four-year tuition waiver for a refugee from the Iraqi Student Project, founded in Damascus by former Chicagoans Gabe Huck and Theresa Kubasak.

The rest is up to us. In August of 2009, the Depaul ISP Support Group welcomed our student, Hala (last name supressed for security reasons), and is raising the funds so she can continue to take advantage of DePaul's generosity. We are entirely volunteer here in Chicago so 97.5% of the money raised on this site (after deducting credit card fees) goes for travel, visa and other fees, books, health expenses, and living necessities After their education here, students will return to rebuild their war-torn country. Thanks for your help in this important and personal work, repairing the breach, one student at a time.
