Thousands of American soldiers, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghani civilians have been killed, and hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent, because of wars that are not supported by a majority of Americans.
On March 20th we will protest!
12:00 p.m. Vigil in Town Square (corner of E. Main and N. Illinois) Carbondale, IL
1:00 p.m. March from Town Square to Military Recruitment Center
1:30 p.m. Picket and open mic at Military Recruitment Center (809 S. Illinois)
Money for Jobs and Education Not for War
End the Occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan
Recruiters Off Campus
Bring the Troops Home Now
Several granny-aged peace people have proposed we form a contingent of grannies. Anyone interested in joining the Raging Grannies can contact us, or just show up in your best granny clothes!
